The Epoch Times presents the next in the series of Ground View events: Featuring world-class photojournalists and filmmakers who have reported on and/or witnessed some of the world's most important news firsthand.
"Freedom Riders" chronicles the experiences of an integrated group of courageous young college students who boarded a bus in 1961 headed for the Deep South in an effort to bring national attention to civil-rights issues like segregation.
Watch clips of this documentary and meet some of the original Freedom Riders. The panel discussion will be about the film as well as individual experiences of the "Ride."

Ms. Grant is currently directing a film about Jesse Owens and the 1938 Olympics for PBS' American Experience and Firelight Media.
